Weekly Junior Wrap: U16 and U18 Boys taste victory

The U14 Boys faced defeat at home on Saturday losing a 93-72 battle to Brentwood Fire. Gaël Jacobs Da Silva shone with 34 points while Harry Gladstone and Khamanai Fox De Silva contributed a 10-point piece each.


Saturday also saw the U16 Boys grab a 4-point win on the road on Oaklands claiming the game with a 74-70 score. Tobi Dada led the team with 14 closely followed by Jaziah Mussington and Tim Rafiu with a joint 13.


Despite the girls putting on a performance of the season, the U16s team found themselves of the wrong end of an unfortunate scoreline in a 52-44 match up against CoLA.


The U14 Girls were left to take the loss to Sussex at home on Sunday closing the game out 45-82. Amelia Ariyo scored 10 points for the girls while Kuini Mate added 8.

 

The U18 Men continued their game winning streak after a 79-68 W to London Thunder. Sam Wood dominated the scoreline putting up 24 points for the team followed by 16 from Femi Edu. Matt Liddamore also added 11.
