The U14 Boys kick off the weekend at HQ to a great start with a 92-84 win over Baltic Stars. Gael Jacobs da Silva led the scorers with an outstanding 43 points while Harry Gladstone followed with an impressive 26. Coach Femi Ariyo described the win as a “Great game with great home support.”
The U14 Girls lost in an unfortunate 77-33 loss on the road against Kingston Lions.
Kara Bassil led the U16 girls to victory against Barking RDF Eagles in an away game with 29 points, winning 66-55 in the end. Ella Heard supported with 12 points.
Ipswich saw the U16 Boys win convincingly at Greenhouse Sports this weekend with a 105-59 final score. Tobi Dada scored a huge 33 points for Ipswich followed by Tim Rafiu with a respectable 19.
Finally, the U18 Men fall on the road to a strong Newham Youngbloods with a close final score of 71-70, despite the contribution from Charlie Smyth with 21 points as well as 19 from Sam Wood.
