The U12 Mixed team suffered an unfortunate 10-point loss on Saturday to North Herts Knights. Jacob Geaves performed strong once again totalling a huge 42 points for the Suffolk team.
After a slow three quarters, the U14 Boys ramped up the pace in the fourth in their city game at Newham Youngbloods on Saturday. Despite this effort and contributions from Harry Gladstone (15) and Riley Erskine (9), the boys were left to follow with a 121-51 loss.
The U14 Girls turned to winning ways this Saturday after a 61-36 win over Bristol Academy. Kuini Mate led the team with an important 22 points whilst Nuria Leal Barbosa added a further 13.
The U16 Girls fell to Sussex Storm on the road 74-42 on Saturday.
The U16 Boys faced 54-72 defeat to top of the table Newham Youngbloods this weekend. The boys gained a 7-point advantage after a strong first half performance but struggled to maintain through to the end. Jaziah Mussington assisted the team by adding 17 points to the scoreline followed by teammate Tim Rafiu with 10. Coach Robinson stated, “There are lots of positives for us to take from the game against a probable Final Four contender”.
The U18 Men took two unlucky loses after facing London Westside back-to-back in a double header weekend. The team hit the road to the capital on Saturday, coming away with an unfortunate 91-62 loss. Harry Laws top scored with 21 points alongside Sam Wood adding another 12 to the score.
Sunday saw a much-improved performance at HQ with the support of club members however the boys just fell short leaving them to take a 15-point loss (96-81). Charlie Smythe shone with an impressive 30 points whilst Sam Wood delivered again with 17 points for the boys.
