Ipswich Basketball announce sponsorship deal with The Forge Kitchen

Ipswich Basketball is delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal with Ipswich based restaurant, The Forge Kitchen, for the 2021/2022 Season.

The club have been seeking new partnerships, despite events of the last eighteen months, and The Forge Kitchen have agreed to a deal that includes financial investment into the club, multiple prizes at games, as well as discounts for club members.

“I’m so happy that we have agreed this deal. The Forge Kitchen is the best restaurant in Ipswich, and I have spent a lot of money there over the last few years, so to bring them on board as part of the Ipswich Basketball Family is a fantastic move, not only for the club but for me personally – as it has given me even more reason to go out to eat there” said Ipswich Basketball Club Head Coach Nick Drane.

The Forge Kitchen is a classy smokehouse restaurant and bar in close proximity to the Ipswich Waterfront, that offers a wide range of food, cocktails, coffee, brunch, lunch and Sunday Roast, as well as craft beers, hand-picked wines and more...Food cooked as nature intended, over smoke and fire for the very best flavour. Open Wednesday to Sunday, club members can make use of their 20% discount from Sunday to Thursday. The Forge Kitchen is equally suitable for dining out for the evening, as it is for a few social drinks – a perfect venue for post-game cocktails for the Ipswich Basketball fan base (Over 18’s of course).

In addition to their donation, and club discount, the Forge Kitchen will have a courtside banner that will be displayed at home games, which will be live streamed – enabling an even wider audience to see the benefits of the new partnership.

The Forge Kitchen Managing Director Grant Owen “We are so proud to be able to be a part of this team’s journey. It has always been our desire to support our local community wherever we could and after the last 18 months this feels even more important. We have been amazed at how Ipswich has come together over this time and overwhelmed with their support for us and I suppose this is just us trying to pass that faith forward into a brilliant local organisation that offers such fantastic opportunity and development for the young sporting talent that’s out there in our community. I’m very much looking forward to getting to a game and to see Ipswich Basketball Club’s continued success”.

Ipswich Basketball Club Chairman Josh Carson had this to say about the newest partner of Ipswich Basketball “In these tough times, it’s so crucial that the club continues to seek partnerships with the local community, and this is perfect. A mutually beneficial arrangement and I would strongly encourage our members to book a table and enjoy an evening with the newest members of the Ipswich Basketball Family. We can’t thank Grant and his team at the Forge Kitchen enough for the support they have already given us, and long may it continue”.
