IBA Summer Camp Announced

Summer Camp is back!

After a year with almost nothing in the calendar for basketball players outside of our academy and senior women’s team, nothing demonstrates the light at the end of the tunnel more than the announcement that the IBA Summer Camp is back.

Whether you have been before, or are a first time camper, Summer Camp is traditionally the most exciting a week in the basketball diary, often with over one-hundred young ‘ballers’ on site at Copleston as they are put through their paces all day every day for an entire week.

Campers will receive a free ‘IBA Summer Camp’ reversible jersey as part of their registration, and players that book early will pay a reduced fee of £85 as opposed to the full price of £100. Bookings will not open until 21st June to reflect the potential for government regulation changes. The early-bird discount will expire on 9th July.

“We are delighted that we are able to offer this to the basketball community this year, after last year had to be cancelled for obvious reasons. Summer Camp, much like our end of season dinner, is a rare event where we are all together under one roof, working together on and off the court to celebrate and enjoy what this amazing sport means to so many of us” said Ipswich Basketball Club Head Coach Nick Drane, who is the Camp Director.

Summer Camp is being held the week of the 26th July. Places are secured on a first come first served basis – so we suggest you get booked on sooner rather than later.
