Senior Women pair, Head Coach Nick Drane and guard/forward Harriet Welham picked up January awards for the NBL Womens Division One this week.
Coach Drane, who led the Women to a 3-0 record in the month, commented that "recognition is always great, but it’s the players that are on the court doing the work.... any award for the coach is a reflection of the players and team they get to work with!'
Harriet Welham, the team's Most Valuable Player during their undefeated season in 2017/18, received her award after averaging 27.5 points per game in January, whilst shooting 52.5% from the field.
